| At Design 75 we believe that fairness and honesty are paramount to a good working relationship so much so that we've even made our small print quite large! We recommend you read through it carefully prior to engaging our services and suggest you take a good look at our FAQs, which we hope will answer any further questions you might have. |
Prices for our Budget and Value packages (as shown on our Home Page) are all-inclusive and are chargeable once the site has been on-line 30 days. Additional charges will only be incurred if the client requires a bespoke design or one of the additional services detailed later in this section.
Communication, we believe is the key to a successful project and is something which we pride ourselves in at Design 75. We can work by email and telephone, although email is our preferred method of communication as it allows us to keep track of your order more efficiently.
Design of the website will be based on the client's choice of template. As part of our service we will modify the style of the template to suit, e.g. changing font styles, colours etc. We will also remove any sections from the layout the client does not need. However, we will not be able to add completely new sections free-of-charge, as this would constitute a redesign of the template and is not included in our package prices.
Text - It is the client's responsibility to provide all textual content for their website. This should be submitted in an email or as a word processor document. As a rough guide, one page of a Word document should correspond to one page of the website. Clients are free to add more, but please bear in mind that users of the site may end up doing a lot of additional scrolling!
Images and graphics - It is the client's responsibility to provide all graphical content for their website and this should be provided electronically. If the client has large files, they should reduce them to a lower resolution appropriate for use on the Internet. They should also ensure that images are in the correct proportion (i.e. the right shape) to the corresponding location on their chosen template. If you don't have access to image manipulation software we will gladly assist you with this.
The client may include a maximum of three images per web page, including the main website 'banner', although we may allow the use of additional images at our discretion.
We recommend the client sources their images through one of the following methods.
- They are the creator of the original image or graphic and hence, the copyright owner.
- They use royalty-free images and/or graphics they have purchased or ones where they have obtained permission from the copyright owner.
- They use the images and graphics incorporated within their chosen template, as these
are also royalty-free if using our services.
Important note: When engaging our services, the client agrees to accept sole responsibility for any infringement of copyright through the misuse of content within their website.
Logos - We will happily incorporate the client's organisation or company logo into the design, assuming it is supplied to us in an appropriate electronic format. If the client does not have a logo but would like one, we are happy to create one for a nominal fee. Logo prices start at £25.
Hosting - All our packages include domain name registration and hosting for one year with the very reputable, HostPapa. After one year we will re-register the client's domain and continue to host their site for only £3.99/month (payable in advance in a single, annual instalment).
In the unlikely event that the client is unhappy with our service, they are under no obligation to continue. If the client would prefer us to transfer their site to a different host, this can be arranged for a one-off fee of £100 (which also includes the transfer of copyright to the client).
Payment - If one of our representatives has met or spoken with the client, we will usually design their website before any payment is requested. Once the client has approved their website, we will request full payment 30 days thereafter. We accept cash, cheques, transfer via Internet Banking and credit card payments via PayPal.
Turnaround - We aim to complete all designs within 5-7 working days from receipt of the client's submissions, although this timeframe is not a contractual obligation. We will not be held responsible for any delays due to incomplete or erroneous submissions made by the client.
Our portfolio - We reserve the right to feature any website we design in the portfolio section of the Design 75 website. This benefits both ourselves and the client, as we will also incorporate a link which will drive traffic directly to the client's site. |

For those of you who don't like getting stuck in the detail... here's a quick summary of our terms and conditions. We do however strongly recommend that you read through our full terms prior to engaging our services.
Your Design will be based on a template which we can modify significantly to meet your wishes, but not completely restructure.
You are responsible for supplying the content of your website including all text, images and graphics files.
You must own or have permission for all images and graphics used
in your website. You accept sole responsibility if the content of your website infringes someone else's copyright.
In addition to our great value packages, we can also provide additional services such as logo design from as little as £25.
All our packages include your domain registration and hosting for one year, after which you can continue to host your site with us for just £3.99/month! |

On approval of the design of your website, full payment will be requested after 30 days. We accept cash, cheques, direct transfer via Internet Banking and card payments through PayPal.
Turnaround is usually within
5-7 working days from receipt of payment. This is not an obligation.
We reserve the right to feature any client's website in the portfolio section of our website. |
